OR Gooch and Son, Inc. was established in 1953 by Oscar Randall Gooch in Lee, NH. His son, Benjamin Lang Gooch, took over the business in the early 70s and ran it until the late 90s when Benjamin G. Gooch (Oscar’s grandson) took over the business.
O.R. Gooch and Son is the oldest Real Log Homes Representative around today. They service Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Vermont. In addition to building new homes (both log and stick frame), O.R. Gooch does log home restorations and additions.
In the 1990s, Ben expanded the business and opened Log Home Hardware. Log Home Hardware stocks an extensive array of hardware items along with pet needs and farm needs.
O.R. Gooch and Son, Inc. moved into their new model log home in Epping in April of 2010. The model home also houses Gooch Realty Holdings, which leases office and storage space at the Epping location. (Call Carol at 679-8673 if you are interested in leasing some office space!)
